Classic florals get a new season update with cute ditsy prints - and these smaller prints are perfect for a petite figure as they're not going to overwhelm your frame. Keep things classic with a pretty printed midi dress, as seen on @rutlandgirlfashionstyle, or opt for something more contemporary with a ditsy print jumpsuit, like @eleanorbarkes.

Absolutely! They are must-haves for this season, and there’s no reason why they won’t look great on a petite figure. A good tip is to opt for smaller prints or solid colours that won’t overwhelm your frame.
A skinny fit or tapered leg, as having less excess material will make your legs appear longer. Cropped shapes that show a little more skin will create the illusion of longer legs too – so look to these for the warmer months.
Vertical stripes are a hero print for women under 5’3” because they create the illusion of height – avoid horizontal ones. The tonal trend is great news for petite women, it’s effortlessly chic and looks great on a smaller frame as it will make you appear taller. If in doubt, go tonal!
There’s no particular neckline you should avoid wearing, but a V-Neck is great as it will elongate the body.
Where possible, cinch in your waist. Do this by opting for shirred tops, tucking tops in or adding a belt. Defining your waist slightly higher will create the illusion of longer legs as well! When it comes to shoes, everyone knows opting for a heel will give you that extra bit of height but look for a heel with a pointed toe to direct the eyes downwards and elongate the legs.
