What The Future Holds is Spy's debut album, a 2012 full-length that helped set his sound in place across deep atmospheres, heavy low end and sharp Drum & Bass engineering. Even spread over four records, the album never feels padded - each tune lands with its own identity, from the soulful pull of You to the title track's late-album lift. The 4xLP format suits the material, letting every cut take its own side and giving the sequence a proper sense of scale.SIDE ONE:1.
