I chose a simple black dress to host my dinner party in. It’s perfect to throw on in between cooking and guests arriving, and teamed with black boots with a slight heel, I’ll be free to run in and out of the kitchen without getting myself in a fluster!
My perfect dinner party style definitely has a relaxed but ‘I’ve made an effort’ look. A simple dress with tights and small heels works great as it makes me feel good, but not overdressed in my own home.
Sienna Miller - I’ve always loved her boho vibes, and her tousled hair is stunning.
Alexa Chung - She’s the queen of fashion, maybe a tad too edgy for me though.
Christmas is all about mulled wine, spiced scented candles and a fire! I’m hosting a Christmas gathering in December and plan to have cute Christmassy place names.
A short vase of cut roses and a few tea lights, simple but sweet.
Whilst cooking I’d tie my hair in a quick bun, and when everyone is sitting down to eat I’d unleash it so it (hopefully) has a natural curly kink. Make up wise I’d go for a subtle smoky eye and a lipstick to suit my outfit.
You’ve got to love a Cosmopolitan with a sugar edge around the glass and an umbrella - every time!
