For a unique gift decoration, constructing a card geometric shape is easy but looks deceptively impressive atop your pretty parcels. Templates can easily be found online (We downloaded them from http://www.korthalsaltes.com) and a little scoring and cutting is all that’s required. We glued them together and added PVA to random panels of the shapes before sprinkling glitter onto it. To add a string use a long needle and thread through one side and out the other. We love to get glue and glitter happy on the gift tags too. Just a simple sprinkling will take your tags from drab to dazzling. The only danger is your recipient thinking it’s too pretty to open.
Can’t find the perfect ribbon? Bias-Binding from a haberdashery was the shiniest silver we found. Don’t be afraid to re-purpose items from around the house.
For a simple and chic look, monochrome is the winning style every time. Adding a single pop of colour can lighten the look if you feel you want to brighten things up. Butcher style string is a cheap and sophisticated way to finish your presents off.
A sprig of greenery can bring a touch of nature to your gifts. Brown twine with a cutting of fragrant eucalyptus or your own Christmas tree will not only smell divine, but also look stylish and modern.
